Where to Next?!
So, let me explain the above masterpiece. On our way from Marysville, Washington back to beautiful Albany Oregon we had a very memorable experience. What started as an everyday drive from point A to point B, soon became the object of much hilarity. It was something to behold. In fact, we pulled over for a good 2 minutes to wait for it to pass us by. Sadly that never happened as the vehicle moved very slowly (we had been forwarned of this as the sign on the back of the vehicle said, "sorry, she goes slow.")
We weren't able to take a real photo of the unique transportation, so we were forced to use our collective imaginations to draw the aforementioned vehicle. Including the accompanying rubber chicken. We laughed sooooo hard! I can only imagine the travelers packing their car. Before strapping on the luggage to the back of the car, double-checking to make sure the rubber chicken hadn't flown the coop. But this is an accurate depiction of the current state of the vehicle in question, with digitally time-enhanced features.
My dear friend and I had a wonderful time driving to and from every destination. It was great to experience Western hospitality. My co-worker said we should have crossed the border into Vancouver, and both of our parents said we should have gone to Alaska, but we were scared of falling off an iceberg. AND, we don't know if they have green VW buses with rubber chickens on them.
