Here's what we did on this obliteratingly hot Saturday: breakfast at Porto's (of course, had to squeeze that in), walked around Burbank for a bit, and then went to our other sister's house (Tina's) for some fruit salad. Flora's boyfriend Jeffrey came and joined us and we headed to the Westfield Topanga Mall (to stay cool). We worked up a good appetite and had dinner at Buca di Beppo's. Just recently I heard a sermon by Alistair Begg wherein he talked about how appropriate it is to celebrate birthdays. It was great to be able to celebrate with our sister, and thank God for yet another year!
